This is just a quick note on Save the Date cards in case you are planning a wedding for 2011. It would be great to send your Save the Date cards in the beginning of the year in the form of a calendar either magnet or an actual calendar that includes your wedding date.

The engagement season is right around the corner and soon you will be putting together your wedding registry list. Here are few things to keep in mind and help you with the list:

• Start your list after putting together what you and your fiancé already have.
• When creating your list think about the things you like to do including things like whether or not you like to entertain, you like to travel, you like going for picnics and others. Add items to your list that you will really use not something that will get dusty by sitting in your cupboard.
• It’s ok to have a long list; this will give your guests enough options to find something that not only fits their budget but also their taste.
• Make sure you balance the list so that you have both cheaper and more expensive  gifts.
• Register in more than one place so your guests will have higher chance to find a store located closer to them.
• You can also create you gift registry list only; there are many web-sites that give you the chance to put together a diversified wish list so you have everything in one place.
• If you and your fiancé already live together and have everything you need you can turn your gift registry into a honeymoon registry, this way your guests will contribute to your honeymoon fund.
